Logo Design

I am now adding to my logo initial design ideas in which I have changed my ideas many times but chose my final one as it is a media production company with a film strip and role in front of the s. The m in the name and the word media is in red to allow it to stand out which I thought was more eye catching than my other ideas for the logo

Editing, final cut work

I am finishing off the editing by putting in the music to the places there isn't much sound and going over every thing so that it looks right and sounds good, though from going through the whole thing, we didn't follow the 180 degree rule on one of the conversations so I have had to flip the image so it looks as though it is being filmed following the 180 degree rule.

Filming shots

 These are pictures taken by myself, Rami and my friend Olivia who we asked to help out.

This picture shows Rami looking back at the video that we had just shot.

 This was taken by Olivia of Rami beginning to film me walking down the corridor to create sound effects for a previous one that we had already done.

Editing, work to be done on film

This is a list of all of the things that I need to improve on the editing of our short film ending. I need to crop the conversation, add music and improve the end credits.

Location Shots

These are the location shots of the first part of the ending of the short film that we took where I go and meet another carer in reception.

Still camera shots during filming

These are still shots taken by Rami as we were out filming in our groups. They show me as the carer, my friend Erica who was helping us was playing the second carer, Rami being the director and Sean as the camera operator.

Design sheet

This is the design sheet that Rami had made for our group based on what our idea was about with a mental patient and a carer in a mental hospital where they are being treated. It gives pictures for the ideas and a description of what it shows underneath each image.

Key shots

The key shots were drawn by me and Sean as to what the key shots were through out the ending scene. There are also descriptions underneath as to the camera shot and what is the action that takes place in each shot.

Proposal

This is the proposal that I had made with the help of Rami and Sean as to what our story line was about and how we planned to create it.

Script

This is the script for our group 2 which was written by Rami, the director and was also helped out by myself and Sean.

Storyboard

This is the storyboard of the ending of the short film, it shows that there is the first carer who goes into reception to talk to her friend and they go off to lunch to discuss her new patient that she is really nervous about so as they head to lunch they have a short conversation as she realizes that she has to go and tend to her patient so heads to the room. As she goes up the stairs there is the patient there waiting for her, before she realizes what is happening she is being dragged down the corridor and shoved in a cupboard which is then locked behind her, she then watches as the patient gets a carers' uniform and walks out of the hospital.

Moodboard

For this moodboard, I first went in to photoshop to get the canvas for the images. Then, I went into google and selected all of the various images that I thought were appropriate for what we were going to film with the title of 'hunted'. With that I selected the images of police cars, carers' uniform, hospital hallway, a phone, hospital building, hospital bed, car crash, some one in a dream, a car park and a letter as our origional idea was to involve all of these different combinations into the ending of short film. Though in the end we had decided that this was too much to go into and ending scene so we cut the car crash, police, car park and the fact that she wakes up in a dream.
